LELIS BRITO - Niego

Lelis is a Venezuelan-American theater director, choreographer, educator, performer, writer and director of the Center for Moving Cultures. As director of CMC Brito advocates for tactile/kinaesthetic knowledge in education and cultural transmission. As an artist, Brito has performed with local and national companies and has created over 70 original works, varying from 6 minute dance solos, to one-hour plays and 3-hour long movement-theatre works. The core of Brito’s work is the human body’s potential and activation—the work of clarifying choice-making through the knowledge gained within the direct experience of a moving sensing body. 2021 projects include: Choreographer/Director of YOU CHANGE ME for Northern Spark; The Role of Queenie in the musical QUEEN B; Co-Curator (with Harry Waters Jr.) of FUTURE NOW series; SRIKA writing residency in Croatia; and ongoing rehearsal and project development with Rosy Simas Danse Ensemble and Teatro del Pueblo.

ABIGAIL CHAGOLLA - Indigo

Abigail is currently based in the Twin Cities, where she has been a Resident Artist at CLIMB Theatre for the past two years. She has enjoyed all the challenges that have come with working online for a year and has enjoyed even more teaching  in person! Aside from the projects she has been in at CLIMB, Abigail has also been involved in projects around the Twin Cities Area like; the Directors Work’s 10 minute scenes, and working alongside Eliza Rasheed teaching theater in a summer school program. NANCY MARVY* - DAVIA

Nancy has graced the stages of such theaters as the Guthrie, Ordway, The Jungle, Park Square, Penumbra, Frank Theatre, Mixed Blood, Minnesota Jewish Theater and Chanhassen Dinner Theater. Nancy starred in the National Tours of Moon Over Buffalo and Last of the Red-Hot Lovers. Musical roles include Mrs. Pierce in My Fair Lady, Mrs. Paroo in The Music Man, Mrs. Brice in Funny Girl and Mistress Coaxer in The Beggar’s Opera. Drama/comedy favorites include; Ethel in On Golden Pond, Martha in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Ouiser in Steel Magnolias and Frankie in the Cricket Theater’s  ground breaking production of Frankie & Johnny in the Clair de Lune. This is her second appearance with PRIME Productions.

Besides theater, her passions include dedication to animals, particularly dogs and cats! 


Nora Montañez* - Yvette

Nora is an Afro-descendent Indigenous Peruvian director, producer, performer, educator and playwright. Nora was raised in Paterson, NJ and holds a BFA from Florida Atlantic University. In Minneapolis, Nora has performed with the Children’s Theatre Company, Jungle Theater, The Playwrights’ Center, Pillsbury House Theatre, Mu Performing Arts, Guthrie Theater, Mixed Blood Theatre, and many others. In Chicago, Nora has worked with Congo Square, Chicago Dramatist, The Revival, Something Marvelous, National Past Time Theatre, Teatro Vista and Court Theatre. She was a 2018 Next Step Grant recipient as well as an Artist in Resident with Catalyst Arts and Center for the Performing Arts and is currently a Many Voices Mentee at the Playwrights’ Center. Nora is also the Founder of the Alliance of Latinx Minnesota Artists (ALMA), which facilitates alliances among the spectrum of Minnesotan Latinx artists. 


Keila Anali Saucedo - Sonya

Keila is the child of Jaime Saucedo Corona y Rosalia Martinez Salgado. They have been writing, storytelling, lying, and creating travesura since their childhood. They are a playwright, performing artist, and theatre maker originally from Chicago, IL. They have presented work with Patrick's Cabaret, Lightning Rod, Mother Goose's Bedtime Stories, Teatro del Pueblo, 20% Theatre Company, and Pangea World Theater. Produced works include "Only I", "What I Have Left To Eat", and "Brujería for Beginners". Keila Anali's work is an attempt at alchemy using ancestral wisdom, survivor technology, and queer discoveries.

Pedro Antonio Bayón - JESUS

Pedro is a 21year old Musician/Actor/Producer and Co-Founder of the record label Sumo Records. He is currently engaging in non-profit work in the Twin Cities for Indigenous Peoples Task Force in South Minneapolis and Youth Farm in West Saint Paul. At present, he is on a gap year from school, and plans to return in the spring to continue his education, seeking a Bachelor’s degree in Music Business with a Minor in Spanish.

Mary Em Burns is an actress/singer who has performed in plays and musicals on many Midwestern stages – from South Dakota to Illinois to Minnesota to Ohio – as well as New York City stages and other east coast venues. Favorite roles include Wanda from Kennedy’s Children, Letitia Primrose from On the Twentieth Century, and Mrs. Prentice from What the Butler Saw. She is very pleased to make her Prime Productions debut with this play reading.

ADLYN CARRERAS - DIRECTOR

Adlyn Carreras was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She came to St. Paul, Minnesota on scholarship to study at Macalester College, where she majored in Latin American Studies with a core concentration in Latin American Literature and a Minor in Biology. After traveling and living in Hawaii, Washington D.C., and Puerto Rico, Adlyn returned to Minnesota and began acting in the Twin Cities. She has performed at The Jungle Theater, Park Square Theater, Pangea World Theater, Mixed Blood, Penumbra Theater, and Teatro del Pueblo. She has also been in various commercials and Industrial films. Adlyn is General Manager & Ensemble Member at Pangea World Theater and an Adjunct Professor at Augsburg University. She was a past Teaching Artist for the Neighborhood Bridges program at Children’s Theater Company and Monologue Artists for Penumbra Theater’s Race Workshop. Adlyn is currently working on her first one-woman performance, If My Bones Could Speak, commissioned by the Alternate Visions program at Pangea World Theater. 

Nathan Yungerberg - PLAYWRIGHT

Nathan's plays have been developed or featured by The Cherry Lane Theatre, The Playwrights’ Center, LAByrinth Theater, The National Black Theatre, The Lark, The Fire This Time Festival, and Roundabout Theatre. Esai’s Table was featured in The Cherry Lane Theatre’s 2017 Mentor Project (Mentored by Stephen Adly Guirgis). Highlights: 2021-2024 Core Writer-Playwrights’ Center, 2021-22 Jerome Hill Artist Fellowship, The National Black Theatre of Harlem’s I AM SOUL residency, and 2019 Djerassi Resident Artist. Nathan is a writer for Sesame Street and Live From Mount Olympus, a podcast starring Andre Deshields (co-directed by Rachel Chavkin and Zhailon Levingston). www.nathanyungerberg.com
